Yet I am receiving offers (annoyingly EVERY DAY) for crossgrade (again) and to upgrade Mixbus. As a Logic user, I'm only really interested in using the 32C as a mix system, but it is a fully-fledged workstation, with a very cool selection of Harrison's own plug-ins.

Performance is sloppy in Windows (to say the least). The Harrison MixBus, especially the 32C, comes much closer than any other DAW I've come across to sounding like a 1980s analogue console. It's also a design that we might re-use somehow, someday. Mixbus has seen very little improvements and support along the years. Nevertheless, it is a type of EQ that we haven't yet provided to our Mixbus users ( a precision EQ with RTA display ) so we thought it would be a nice addition to the release. If I find that the Filter enable/disable LED is friggingly hard to see being dark blue/grey I will say so.

But then after years it did not survive the 2nd round of questioning, and I explained why. It is this emulation of the Harrison 32C console that is the key component of the DAW to be honest, because by comparison to many other DAWs, the Harrison Mixbus 32C is lacking features, particularly in the MIDI side of things. I was a plug-in member, I questioned it, then I joined again. It is a console that has well and truly earnt itвЂ™s place in recording history. That does not mean keeping the mouth shut. For me it was a matter of about, I'd say, approximately, 5 seconds after receiving the email.
